Adding and removing terminals
You can add or remove VenueScan Terminal at any time on the Terminal Plan by emailing support@venuescan.com.au.
Add a terminal
Email support with your request and VenueScan will confirm within 2 business days and schedule installation. Installation is usually completed within 5 business days of that confirmation.
Billing: a pro-rata charge covers the period from the terminal’s activation date to your next billing date. VenueScan will issue a tax invoice for that amount within 2 business days of activation and collect it by direct debit within 5 business days.
Remove a terminal
Email support at least 3 business days before your next billing date. If your notice arrives within 3 business days of billing, the change takes effect from the following billing date instead.
VenueScan will arrange collection of the removed terminal. After collection, no further charges apply for that terminal.
Remove all terminals
If you remove every terminal, you have two options:
- Switch to the QR Code Plan at $29/month (ex. GST), effective from your next billing date
- Cancel entirely, subject to the standard notice requirements
What to expect when a terminal is collected
Once a removal or cancellation is confirmed, the terminal stays at your venue until the end of the billing cycle. VenueScan will then contact you within 7 business days to arrange collection and cover the cost of pickup.
You need to make the terminal available at your venue within 14 calendar days of that contact. If a terminal isn’t made available within that window, a $900 (ex. GST) fee per terminal applies. See Damaged, lost, or stolen terminals for details on condition expectations at return.
